Same thing happened to me the day I brought the car home (‘21 Carbon Turbo). The screen went blank even though the radio/volume worked and music was playing, but nothing would display on the screen. I shut the car off for about a half hour and when I turned it back on all was fine and I haven’t had a problem in the past two weeks since so I [2017 Mazda CX-5] Without touching anything, the cursor on the screen just randomly moves around and selects things. It has (at random) disabled blindspot monitoring, stopped and played music repeatedly, dimmed the screen, go to the navigation screen, disconnect my bluetooth, to name a few. The biggest gripe I've got with my new CX-30 is how music files on my memory stick are handled. I have about 5,000 songs filed away in folders by artist then album. Most of the folders only have one or a few song files but I have a few that contain quite a few complete albums. What is frustrating me is that if I select "ALBUMS" from the car's I picked up a $20 " mazda CX-5 seat motor drive shaft cable rod 2" stainless" on EBay. I had to cut off 1/4" w/ a Harb Frt electric cut off tool. It took a good bit of giggling to fit but it works, tho a bit noisy. Plan B would be to pick up a used seat track from a bone yard, $150 + shipping. Most yards are tied to the nationwide used parts Mazda Cx 5 Backup Camera Not Working. Having a functional backup camera is essential for safe driving. The Mazda CX 5 is no exception and having a reliable backup camera can be the difference between an accident or avoiding one. However, if your Mazda CX 5’s backup camera isn’t working properly, it’s time to take action. If you've already buttoned the car back up, just pull the dash pieces to get at the back of the stereo, plug in the original cable and hub, flash 74.xx.xxx or newest, then plug in the AA/CP hub. Exact same issue I had after buying aftermarket CarPlay part off eBay and having dealer install it for me. As noted, CarPlay has always worked fine until this week. Car doesn’t seem to recognize the phone is connected to launch CarPlay. Phone does connect via USB or Bluetooth to play music via Mazda menus. I have restarted my phone (iPhone 8 running 13.5.1) and reset the infotainment settings to factory with no luck. Made sure Siri is working. There are two harnesses on the back of the radio. One is for power and antenna and that stuff and the other is for the speaker outputs. It's sounds like the speaker output cable is disconnected. Remove you radio and see that it is all good, if not take it to the dealer. Removing the radio and putting it back should take no longer than 25-30 Aug 5, 2019. #1. I have a 2016 CX-5 GT (2.5L engine with 6-speed auto trans). About a year ago, the AC fan blower started to make noise when I have it turned on half way. Took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong. They just cleaned something and the noise went away for a while. A few months later, the noise came back. The weather today is super hot, my car was under the Sun for awhile and it stopped working, screen went black. Checked if it needs software update, but it is up to day. Not sure what is going on but taking it back to the dealer tomorrow, however I do believe it is related the weather/temperature. 1. r/CX5. Adjusting the Vents. To adjust the direction of airflow, move the adjustment knob. When using the air conditioner under humid ambient temperature conditions, the system may blow fog from the vents. This is not a sign of trouble but a result of humid air being suddenly cooled. The air vents can be fully opened and closed by operating the dial. 1. SpaceRiceBowl. • 2 yr. ago. I haven't gotten it fixed yet. I imagine its just a case of driving to the dealership, waiting about half an hour or so, and driving out. r/CX5. I have a 2016.5 CX-5 GT. Probably two thirds of the time, the navigation fails to start. The loading screen just keeps spinning. This past weekend, I took the vehicle in for service and firmware 59.00.441 was installed. I was told this would fix the problem. I tested the nav three times before leaving the dealership, and all seemed well. I do not have this problem with my s20fe, 21 turbo I think? I tried a few things. Connect AA, play music, unplug usb cable, music stops. go into entertainment and select Bluetooth, music resumes. Play music via entertainment Bluetooth, plug AA in. Music transfers to AA. Unplug AA, turn off car. .
